About
I began my floristry journey at Tafe in 2017. Quickly falling in love with the art of floristry I started working in the industry during my studies & was soon doing my first wedding for some old school friends. I found passion, joy & flow creating my own creations of ephemeral art, falling seamlessly into the process of planning, buying & arranging the flowers for someone's special day. I found peace in creating wedding florals & over the years having an extensive portfolio of working with many different florists & businesses in the industry, including my own wedding business, & I have been able to articulate a skill in floristry that I feel is unique & my own. Specialising in Australian natives, I love finding flora that is full of texture, character & life. Pairing the natives with beautiful seasonal, locally grown fresh cut flowers I gravitate towards colour, patterns & complementary textures. I want my brides, bridal party & guests to look at the flowers & be astonished by the variety, shapes, colours & textures & to also find curiosity & amazement in these natural wonders of our plant world.
I do texture, I do variety, I do (preferably) colour. I'm not your 'just roses' or 'on trend' kinda florist, sorry to say.
If you want something unique & captivating full of texture & life for your wedding day, I AM your kinda florist.
